Spectrum Academy is the premier charter school in Utah for students with high functioning autism and others who would benefit from our unique learning environment. We provide small class sizes, with individualized instruction and innovative social skills curriculum. We help students reach their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally, leading to productive and successful futures.
Spectrum Academy High School Class Change Policy
At the beginning of each Semester:
Week One: Students/parents may request changes by emailing the counselor. All changes must be completed prior to the end of the first 5 school days of the school year.
Week Two: Schedule changes may be made only after a student obtains a online class change form. This form should be obtained from the front office. Payment of a $5 fee will be required and the changes must be completed prior to the end of the first 10 day of the school year.
Week Three Until Midterm: Only changes involving an equivalent course or involving a graduation requirement, will be allowed. Changes involving core to elective or elective to elective will not be allowed. Students should see the counselor if they have questions. The Principal will need to approve any change.
After Midterm: No changes will be permitted.
At the Beginning of Terms 2 and 4
Week One: Changes will be made under special circumstances only. Students should see the counselor if they believe theirs is a special circumstance. The Principal will need to approve the change.
Week Two Until the End of the Term: No changes of any type permitted.
